Integrative Psychotherapy is a talking therapy that uses a variety of carefully selected psychological approaches that are integrated together to suit your unique therapeutic needs. The relational process enables you to have a safe space to explore your issues and integrate your feelings, thoughts, behaviours and physiological aspects of your experience to allow a fuller, more satisfying way of being. It can be a highly impactful relationship for those who want to gain self-awareness and reach their potential. Sessions can take place online and in-person both in the Hall itself or idyllic grounds and gardens. The frequency and duration of your therapy alongside therapeutic aims is discussed collaboratively with you during the assessment stage.
Occupational therapy allows you to identify any functional gaps in your daily life that you feel are holding you back. The next step is to develop thought-through goals in collaboration with your therapist that are evaluated regularly. With the support of this bespoke therapeutic plan, the focus is for you to develop self-awareness, achieve balance and meet your health needs within all areas of life. This includes your relationships, work, roles, hobbies and self-care.
We consider your experience with exercise; our team work with you to form an exercise schedule that you are confident and comfortable with. The benefits of training on physical health are proven, but we thoughtfully create a program to support your mental health goals too.
What you eat is fundamental to your physical and mental health. Our team of dietitians and nutritionists aim to get a deep, clinical understanding of any dietary issues you may have and how your food choices could be affecting how you feel and function. As part of your integrative program, we consider how your diet could support both your mental health and physical health.
Yoga's positive benefits on mental health have made it a beneficial tool within psychotherapeutic therapies. With a growing body of research into the mental health benefits, yoga promotes body awareness, reduces or increases concentration, encourages calmness and even balance the nervous system.
Yoga sessions can be tailored to your objectives and are an even more powerful tool when integrated with other services.
Interacting with animals can provide a completely different way of exploring parts of ourselves, difficult experiences and emotions, whilst having a calming effect on the nervous system. MindStudio is currently the home to three Valais Blacknose sheep (Bertie, Ivy and Iggy), three alpacas (Jethro, Milo and Bruno), five chickens (Daphne, Barbara, Shirley, Whitney and Dolly) and three dogs (Freddie, Hadrill and Molly). Animal therapy can be an extension of your therapy and integrated in different ways within your individualised wellness plan, including having specific therapy sessions with the animals or experiencing a yoga session watched by our large-eyed and fluffy alpacas.
